Those sugary mixers do go well with vodka’s of all types, but they do not do your blood sugar any favors! Sure, they make your drink nice and sweet but the calories that go alongside of that flavor are astronomical, and almost not worth it in the long run. Instead, you can try and mix liquor with soda water and a slice of real fruit to get that sweet kick in. Instantly your sugar count will go down, as well as your calorie count by making this simple switch up!

- 2 Shots Soda Water
- Fresh squeezed lime for flavor

- ¼ cup blackberries (bottom of cup)
- 1 Shot of vodka
- Lemon and Lime juice
- 2 Shots of soda water
